Enrique Valdivieso, musician, composer, instrumentalist, investigator and explorer of the Arabic-Andalusian roots in Jazz. In his family music is a tradition and following it, he has become the only spanish organist in his line. He has solid experience and is a perfect player of the difficult "monster" the Hammond organ. Playing it, he has toured countries such as Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Morocco, Senegal, France, The U.K. and Finland.

He has taken part in several national and international Jazz Festivals and in various T.V. programmes, two of them being "Jazz entre amigos" which were exclusively dedicated to him.

(1986 Polygram F:M: 68735, a record with of the most famous standards where Valdivieso shows his unusual as the "Spanish Jimmy Smith".

1988 RNE N3 30010 J, based on the cultura of Al-Andalus,that developed between 711 and 1609 in Spain, still remains tradition in North Africa, the Middle East and Nigeria.
Ziryab is one of the biggest symbols of that culture. With this record Enrique Valdivieso shows not only his Andalusian roots but also a profound experience that took him to create new kindshoft music that situate him on the verge of experimental jazz whichrecognizeshim as a Spanish vanguardist musician.
